Come join Arkansas Oscar-nominated producer Tara Sheffer, film director & UCA Professor Emily Railsback, actress Robin Mullins (Cold Mountain, The Secret Life of Bees) and Kody Ford (Arkansas Cinema Society) at St. Peter’s Parish Hall for a fun-filled evening of learning about independent filmmaking in Arkansas and sharing a meal with other creatives.
Our Film Workshop “How to Make a Feature Film in 8 Days” will teach you the ins and outs of indie filmmaking with behind-the-scenes stories from the set of “Road Trip to Totality”, including how the small team made a feature film in only 8 days by harnessing all that Arkansas has to offer. Whether you’re interested in the arts or ready to make your next movie, there’s something for everyone including never-before-seen clips from the film. All ages welcome.
After the workshop, stick around for Dinner with delicious food and great company. All proceeds from the event tickets go to support post-production on “Road Trip to Totality”. It’s a fantastic way to give back to the film community while having a blast!
Limited Seating; $25 Ticket includes workshop + dinner.
UCA Students can receive a $5 discount with the Promo Code: UCAFilm
