It is with mixed emotions that I share that John Fincher, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, is leaving UCA after 18 years of service. John has accepted the Strategic Operations Director position at Arkansas Children’s Research Institute (ACRI). This role is similar to a Chief of Staff position and he will report directly to the ACRI President. He will oversee the development of their new Strategic Plan, the integration of research into the broader clinical operations of the system, and will represent the ACRI President with key stakeholders.
John’s last day at UCA will be June 30. We will celebrate his many accomplishments and wish him nothing but the best in this next adventure on June 20. Please see the invitation below and feel free to share with anyone who may want to come.
We will truly miss John in our division, but we are glad that Rebekah, John and the boys will still call Conway home.
