Join us for Week 5 of the Faculty for Successful Students series as we dive into the importance of providing individualized support to students and how it can boost their academic success. Hosted by CETAL and Student Success Services, this session will focus on strategies for tailoring your approach to meet each student’s unique needs, improving performance, and strengthening relationships.
Key topics for discussion include:
– Completing progress reports to monitor student progress.
– Scheduling conferences or brief check-ins with students, either during class or office hours, to discuss course progress or any other concerns.
– Creating a file of commonly-used grading comments to quickly offer meaningful and personalized feedback on assignments.
– Promoting campus resources such as Tutoring Services, the Center for Writing and Communication, and Peer Success Coaching in your classes and through individual referrals in Navigate360.
This session is a great opportunity to exchange ideas and learn practical ways to provide personalized support that can make a real impact. We hope to see you there TODAY at 12:15 in the Executive Dining Room (Christian Cafeteria).
