Dr. Seungyeon Lee, Associate Professor of Psychology & Counseling, has been invited to present a plenary session at the 60th Annual Meeting of the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST), which will take place March 19–22, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Lee will lead a session titled: “Supporting Faculty and Administration in the Face of Compassion Fatigue” 📅 March 20, 2025 | ⏰ 1:45–2:15 p.m.
This important session will explore the growing challenges of compassion fatigue among faculty and administrators in higher education. Dr. Lee will discuss the distinctions between burnout and compassion fatigue, highlighting effective strategies for supporting faculty well-being in the face of increasing emotional demands.
NAST’s invitation recognizes her expertise in faculty mentorship, educational psychology, and student engagement, as well as her dedication to advancing mental health awareness and institutional well-being in academia.
