5124 SEMINAR IN INSURANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT This course is designed to introduce high school teachers to the principles of risk management and insurance. The primary focus of this introductory course is on evaluating life, health, retirement, property, and liability exposures and the use of insurance as a technique for financing these exposures. 5324 FUNDAMENTALS OF RISK AND INSURANCE This course is designed to introduce the student to the principles of risk management and insurance. The primary focus of this introductory course is on evaluating life, health, retirement, property, liability and personnel exposures to loss and analyzing the methods for managing risks. Risk management and insurance techniques for dealing with potential losses to individuals and organizations will be emphasized.
