The Summer Start program
is a great way to start your college career successfully! Students who participate in this program will:
- Learn about the resources UCA offers to help you succeed in all of your classes
- Understand how to use UCA’s learning management system, Blackboard
- Meet other students, faculty, and staff before Welcome Week even begins
- Realize their personal strengths and how to use them to their advantage
- Move into your residence hall a few days early
- Have fun!

This program is valued at $375 per student but it is 100% FREE! That’s right, no cost to the student or their families.
