UCA Student Awarded Occupational Therapy Scholarship
Occupational therapy student Melodie Mauney has been awarded the Florence Wood Scholarship of the Arkansas Occupational Therapy Association from the American Occupational Therapy Foundation.
As a student of the occupational therapy class of 2015t, the occupational therapy department would like to congratulate Ms. Mauney on her scholarship!
UCA Study Abroad Program Summer 2015 Proved Successful
UCA’s faculty-led study abroad program was a huge success this summer.
Seventy-five students participated in faculty-led programs all over the world.
Students traveled to places like Florence, Italy (for UCA in Florence) and London, England (for Theatre in London).
Other locations included Costa Rica and Shanghai, China for a language immersion program.
UCA Graduate Student Presented Psi Chi Research Award
UCA student Cory Cobb has been presented with one of four Psi Chi awards by the APA Society Convention Research Award program for his paper “Acculturation/Enculturation, Discrimination, and Depression among Undocumented Hispanic Immigrants.”
Cobb is a second year doctoral student studying psychology.
Each year the judges award the two best graduate and undergraduate entries.
The award includes a $500 cash prize.
