5th Annual Amigo Cup Soccer Challenge Begins September 21, 2014
On Sunday, September 21, 2014, UCA will sponsor the 5th Annual Amigo Cup Soccer Challenge. This year’s tournament will be divided into two parts. First, in the morning we will host a children’s (10 and under) Latino soccer team tournament. In the afternoon, we will host a soccer tournament for Latino students attending high school.
This will be a festive event that will include soccer games, Latino music, food vendors, campus tours, and live stream broadcasts of the tournament. There will be hundreds of Latino youth, family members and friends on the UCA campus participating and watching the tournament. UCA will receive statewide media coverage – especially in Latino households – about the tournament.
