University of Central Arkansas junior, Blayk Puckett, was pulled over for having a brake light out by the UCA Police Department on Donaghey Avenue while he was driving home from the Torreyson Library on March 3, 2017.
Puckett said he was driving slowly because he knew he had a broken tail light, but Sgt. Keith McKay was on the lookout for such behavior. Slow driving, especially late at night on a Friday, is often indicative that a person may have been drinking.
Sgt. McKay was one of the two officers who pulled Puckett over, and in the parking lot of Smokehouse Barbeque, Puckett had a chance to explain that he was only driving slowly to be as careful as possible since he had a taillight out.
After discussing his situation and showing his brake light to the officers, the officers asked Puckett about his license plate, which read “JUGGLER.”
Puckett revealed that he was a magician and a juggler. He offered to give them a show and the UCA officers agreed.
In the dashcam footage, Puckett takes out his juggling equipment from the backseat of his vehicle and juggles three bowling pins for the officers.
The dashcam video footage went viral after Puckett posted it on Facebook and the video was picked up by local media, then national media and then the video went worldwide!
It has been viewed online more than 30 million times and was viewed by 8,363,928 viewers on televisions in the United States.
