Variety Magazine named Arkansas native and UCA alum Graham Gordy as one of “10 TV Writers to Watch in 2016,” in anticipation of Gordy’s work on a new eight-episode drama, “Quarry.”
Cinemax premiered Gordy’s show “Quarry” on September 9, 2016.
The series stars Logan Marshall-Green, and is based on Max Allan Collins’ “Road to Perdition” 1976 crime novels.
According to Cinemax, “‘Quarry’ is the story of Mac Conway, a Marine who returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972 and finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public. As he struggles to cope with his experiences at war, Conway is drawn into a network of killing and corruption that spans the length of the Mississippi River.”
“Quarry” airs on Fridays at 10:00 p.m. on Cinemax.
Graham Gordy also worked with Michael D. Fuller on the first season of SundanceTV’s Peabody Award-winning “Rectify.”
