Maumelle residents calling U.S. Senator John Boozman’s Washington, D.C. office may find a familiar voice at the other end of the line.
UCA student Renee Fuell participated in Boozman’s Congressional Summer Internship Program in Washington, D.C.
While in Washington Fuell attended committee hearings and legislative briefings, worked with the communications department on various press tasks, provided constituent services to visiting Arkansans, attended lectures from a variety of speakers, gave tours of the U.S Capitol building, and shadowed Boozman during meetings, hearings and receptions.
“I’m incredible grateful for this opportunity, as well the opportunities that have come from this internship. Senator Boozman and his staff have treated me with great respect. I’ve enjoyed getting to know the staff and taking advantage of everything our nation’s capital has to offer. I know that everything I have learned during my time in Washington will benefit me in my future endeavors,” Fuell said.
“Renee has been a tremendous help to my office and the people of Arkansas during her time in Washington. I appreciate her commitment and dedication to serving Arkansans and being an ambassador for our office,” Boozman said.
