Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics
We will announce information for next year’s contest in early 2021.
Visit ACTM’s new webpage at https://ArkansasCTM.org/. You can find information about the 2020 ACTM Virtual Conference, too.
The Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ACTM) is a professional association that supports and encourages good mathematics teaching. ACTM conducts annual regional and state mathematics contests that provide an opportunity for high school students to compete academically. Following the regional contest, teachers may access the regional tests and use them as teaching tools.
A complete list of regional contest locations and directors, contest rules, and tests from previous years can be found in the menu options above. Registration details for 2020 will be announced by the regional contest directors.
Dr. Garth Johnson, lecturer at the University of Central Arkansas, is state contest director and can be contacted at garthj@uca.edu.
If you are a student and would like to participate in the next year’s Regional Math Contest, please ask your math teacher to help you prepare for the contest.
