UCA HONORED BY MINORITY ACCESS, INC. FOR SECOND YEAR

The University of Central Arkansas was approved to be honored as an institution committed to diversity for 2017 by Minority Access, Inc, a nonprofit organization committed to increasing diversity, decreasing disparities and reducing incidences of environmental injustices.

This is the second consecutive year that UCA has earned the distinction of being an Exemplary College/University Committed to Diversity.

The formal presentation in recognition of the institution’s commitment was made during the 18th National Role Models Conference, Sept. 29  to Oct. 1, 2017, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Washington, D.C.

The National Role Models Conference is one of the most prestigious conferences of its kind addressing issues of diversity and disparities in our nation, offering honoring of national role models, undergraduate researchers competition, recognition of colleges and universities, informative and interactive sessions, recruitment opportunities, networking and more.
