This year marks the ten-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, which claimed nearly 3,000 lives.

Psychology professor Kevin Rowell, a member of the Disaster Mental Health Team with the American Red Cross, was called a few days following the attacks to assist in providing mental health counseling. He spent two weeks after 9/11 in Newark, N.J. counseling American Airlines flight crews.
