Presentations and Publications 11/18

The following presentations, publications and accomplishments were submitted by UCA faculty and staff: Dr. Jim Guinee, Department of Psychology and Counseling, presented three workshops at the Arkansas Counselor Association conference in Hot Springs, Nov. 9-11. His presentations were “Tips for Enhancing your Conference Presentation,” “The Counselor as an Agent of Change,” and “Common Ethical Concerns for College Counselors.”

Jeff Allender, Brooks Green and Jerry Reynolds, Department of Geography, attended the meetings of the Southwest Division of the Association of American Geographers in Fayetteville, Nov. 10-11. Allender presented “Blending Rock and Brick in the Ozarks of Arkansas: The Mixed Masonry Buildings of Silas Owens, Sr., 1938-1956,” Green presented “The Russian Far East: Place of Plenty – People in Poverty,” and Reynolds presented, “Restrictive Usage Policies on Water Supply Reservoirs and Watersheds: The Extremes of Source Water Protection in the United States.”
