Faculty Discusses Impact of Gulf Oil Spill

The BP oil spill has become the worst oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. More than 140.6 million gallons of oil have spilled into Gulf waters since April 20.

Dr. Tim Bisping, an associate professor and chair of the Economics Department, and Dr. Laurie Warren, a lecturer in the Biology Department, recently discussed the economic and environmental impact the oil spill will have on the Gulf Coast. Bisping also touched on the potential impact the disaster could have in Arkansas. Visit UCA’s YouTube page to hear their comments.
