About J’Lun:
J’Lun is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and is currently a graduate student in the Mental Health Counseling program. He came to UCA during the Summer of 2019 and started his journey as a Cyberphysical Security major, later changing his major to Psychology. During his first semester on campus, he joined Project X, IDEAL, and the Minority Mentorship Program (MMP). During his sophomore year, he became a mentee for MMP and was a Resident Assistant (RA) at Bear Village. In his junior year, he remained as an RA and also joined the Student Government Association (SGA) as the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences Representative. J’Lun won two awards from Housing, WEBS RA of the Year (2021-2022) and the 2022 PAWS Award. He continued his journey in SGA as the Vice President of Finance in his senior year.

J’Lun is joining the Student Life office as a Graduate Assistant. His experience of working with several organizations on CubConnect, from being the Vice President of Finance, will continue as he assists Jaclyn Austin on CubConnect with a wide variety of tasks. He will also be assisting the Bear Den with tailgating, events, fundraising, etc.

Outside of UCA, J’Lun spends his time hiking, drawing, and cooking. As a vegan he finds joy in finding new recipes and hacks to make his meals cheaper and healthier. He is an avid gym goer and can often be found running several miles around campus or different trails in Conway.
