IDEAL Freshmen Leadership Team

About Edith:
Edith is from Horatio, Arkansas. She is starting her third year at UCA and majoring in biology. She plans to implement her education at UCA to apply for veterinary school. Edith loves being involved in the organizations she’s a part of. One of her favorite organizations she completed her freshman year was the IDEAL Freshman Leadership program. From 2022-2023, she served as an alumni leader for IDEAL and is now the Student Director for the organization. She is also serving as a Team Leader for the UCA Ambassador program where she participates heavily in UCA’s preview days for highschool seniors.

Edith is excited to work with the Office of Student Life this year. There are great changes being made for IDEAL this year with the goal to reach out to more freshmen. She’s looking forward to working with the student workers and advisors.

Edith enjoys using some of her free time to watch “ER” on HBO Max. She loves spending time with friends and watching movies of any genre with them. When it’s time for winter breaks or summer, Edith spends most of her time with family and working at the DeQueen Animal Hospital. One of Edith’s favorite things is trying to bring positivity in each room she’s in.
