What is SAFA?
The SAFA (Student Activity Fee Allocation) Committees shall hear the budgeting requests for recognized student organizations that qualify for SAFA funding. It shall have the power to request reports from all organizations and activities that request funds from the SGA
RSO’s interested in funding must present requests one semester in advance.

When is SAFA?
Fall 2025 SAFA Training Dates:
- Thursday, January 30th 1:40 – 2:30 pm (x-period)
- Tuesday, February 4th, 1:40 – 2:30 pm (x-period)
SAFA Budget Submission Deadline: Feb 14th
Hearing Sign-Up Deadline: Feb 16th
SAFA Appeal Dates: March 10th/17th
Fall 2025 SAFA Hearing Dates: February 18th-20th and 25th-27th
