2025 AMUN Conference Schedule

Friday, November 21, 2025
10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Conference Check-In, Student Center, Room #204
All delegations should send their faculty advisor and head delegate(s) to the conference check-in area located near Room #204 in the UCA Student Center.  Any remaining delegate fees may be paid during conference check-in.  The AMUN Secretariat Office will be located in Student Center, Room 207E.  All of the committee and plenary sessions, as well as the opening and closing sessions of the conference, will be held in Main Hall (Ida Waldran Auditorium), Student Center, and McCastlain Hall located on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas.  There is parking for automobiles and vans on the west side of Reynolds Performance Hall located on the south end of campus (not too far from the AETN Building located on South Donaghey Avenue).  There is parking available for large buses near Bill Stephens Soccer Field and Jeff Farris Softball Complex located near the intersection of Arkansas Highway 60 / Dave Ward Drive and South Donaghey Avenue.  A printable parking permit will be emailed to all participating high school faculty advisors/sponsors prior to the conference.

The faculty advisors/sponsors lounge is located in the Student Center, Room #202.  Coffee, iced tea, and cookies will be available in the lounge for faculty advisors/sponsors during the conference.  Faculty advisors and sponsors may also use Student Center Rooms #201, #204, and #226 during the conference.

Faculty Advisors/Sponsors will have the opportunity to pick a lottery number for 2025 AMUN country assignments in the Faculty Advisor Lounge in Student Center, Room #202 between 7:30pm and 8:30pm.  Faculty Advisors/Sponsors may submit their AMUN country preference form (paper or online) on or before December 15, 2025.

The main committees of the General Assembly, Security Council, HSC, ECOSOC, HRC, MICJ, and Council of the Arab League shall elect their respective Rapporteurs on Saturday morning.  The Novice General Assembly (GA) Committee does not elect a Rapporteur.  The three main committees of the General Assembly shall formally adjourn their meetings at 11:35 am.  Delegates in these committees should take all of their electronic devices and other personal items from the committee rooms following adjournment at 11:35am.  Delegates in the three main GA committees shall reconvene in the Plenary Session of the General Assembly in Ida Waldran Auditorium at 1:00 pm.

Lunch Break – All delegates are expected to be back in their respective committee rooms promptly at 1:00 pm.  Please do not be late!

1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Plenary Session of the General Assembly in Ida Waldran Auditorium (Main Hall).
The members of the three main committees of the General Assembly shall reconvene in the Plenary Session of the General Assembly in Ida Waldran Auditorium (Main Hall).  The Plenary Session shall start promptly at 1:00 pm.  The AMUN Secretary-General or the Presiding Officer of the Plenary Session shall announce an emergency topic following convening of the plenary session and roll call.

The Closing Session shall begin with speeches by the delegates who elected as Rapporteurs of the three main committees of the General Assembly, ECOSOC, HRC, MICJ, HSC, Security Council, and Council of the Arab League.  The Novice GA Committee does not elect a Rapporteur.
