Miss UCA 2023 Kennedy Holland

When 2024 Miss UCA Kennedy Holland was an elementary school student, she took note when a friend in a wheelchair couldn’t access their school’s playground equipment. Since then, she has made it her mission to bring about change by informing area schools and communities about the need for inclusive playgrounds.

A Legacy of Excellence

The University of Central Arkansas Project X’s mission is to educate, engage and empower young men coming to college by providing a sense of brotherhood and community within campus. It also prepares them for a future beyond college by presenting leadership opportunities in the greater community.

Laurels and Stripes 2024

University of Central Arkansas’ annual Laurels and Stripes event showcased UCA’s passion for fundraising as more than 500 alumni and friends enjoyed an unforgettable evening honoring outstanding alumni, celebrating the impact of privately funded scholarships and dancing to the sounds of Bring Down the House.

President’s Society 2024

The annual President’s Society Reception was held Feb. 29 at Cache restaurant in Little Rock. Members of the 2023 President’s Society were invited to the special event to be thanked for their support. Membership is extended to those who contribute at least $1,000 to the University of Central Arkansas during a calendar year.

UCA NOW Campaign

The University of Central Arkansas reached a historic milestone raising more than $109 million with the UCA Now campaign. Remarkably, the campaign, which ran throughout the uncertainty of a pandemic, was able to not only surpass its ambitious goal but also successfully finish 10 months ahead of schedule.

Campaign Pillar: Success

Endowments for scholarships and faculty support open many doors. With more than $1.5 million in privately funded scholarships awarded each year, students are able to pursue their passions and thrive. Many of these hardworking students face financial challenges and support is critical in changing their lives, generating lasting impact for our campus, our community and beyond.

Helping Those Who Come After

Jase Wicker, a junior business major, has one less thing to worry about as he pursues his degree thanks in part to the H.B. Hardy Jr. Scholarship. A longtime administrator, alumnus, Sig Tau member, and philanthropist, the late Dr. H.B. Hardy Jr. ’48 understood the value and importance of giving back to students.
