How can I be a Global Learning Scholar at UCA?
Through your degree:
- Choose courses in the UCA CORE or your minor or major that expand your knowledge of the world.
- Continue the foreign language learning you began in high school or begin studying Chinese, French, German, Japanese or Spanish in your first year on campus.
- Travel to expand your horizons through a faculty-led, language immersion, or semester exchange abroad or spend a semester studying in another US state, Canada or Puerto Rico though the National Student Exchange program at UCA.
- Look for a Global Classroom course on campus as UCA expands its new Collaborative Online International Learning initiative (COIL).
- Explore global issues locally with a service-learning course that engages students in serving people in central Arkansas.
- Become a Global Learning Scholar.
Through your experiences:
- Bear Experience – Co-curricular activities with a global focus will enrich student learning on campus and allow students to add to their Bear Experience Second Transcript. Use Cub Connect to find a list of eligible events.
