Tyler Gum, a spring 2021 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas Sport Management Program, is an account executive for the University of Arkansas Athletics Department where he oversees a portion of the athletic ticket sales for the Razorbacks. In his role, he answers questions for fans and handles all of their ticketing needs. While completing his degree at UCA, Tyler worked in the Athletics Department at Southern Arkansas University as the Director of Game Day Operations until September 2021 when he became the Director of Ticketing at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He remained in that position until March 2022 when he took his current position in Fayetteville. His goal is to continue helping collegiate athletic programs across the state. Tyler had this to say about his degree in Sport Management from UCA, “…it has helped benefit my career tremendously. I was able to finish my degree while working a full time job at SAU. This program also covered bases from multiple different areas in athletic departments and allowed me to get a feel for which aspect I wanted to focus on. I would highly recommend this program to anyone wanting to further their career in athletics.” Congratulations to Tyler on his early career success.
