Alexis Faupel Scholarship Fund
This award recognizes full-time female students majoring in Exercise Science. Recipients must be a rising junior or senior and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. This award is named after Alexis Faupel, a 4th year Exercise and Sport Science student, who died at the age of 21 from cancer while in her last year of obtaining a bachelor’s degree. Alexis maintained above a 3.0 GPA throughout college. Alexis had played sports from a young age including swimming, basketball, and track and field. She continued her love of exercise science through training at several gyms. Her goal was to obtain a degree in Exercise Science and to incorporate that into her mission of becoming a church youth leader. Alexis had plans to complete the degree and then enroll in a seminary school that incorporated health of the physical body, as well as the spirit. Please help support her mission and remember Alexis by donating to this special scholarship fund.
