Exams for Graduation

MSE in Literacy w/ Dyslexia Endorsement

For graduation, you are required to submit a score report for the following exams. It is suggested you take them at the beginning of your final semester.

  • KPEERI – You can take this exam online, and your score report will be generated immediately. After you take the test, please email Dr. Thompson a copy of your score report at athompson@uca.edu.  To register for the test, please click here.
  • Reading Specialist PRAXIS Exam –http://www.ets.org (Code 5302). Please have a score report sent to UCA but also please email Dr. Thompson a copy of your score report at athompson@uca.edu. Score reports can take 6+ weeks so please plan accordingly to have your report to Dr. Thompson prior to graduation.
  • If you are in Arkansas and will be adding Dyslexia to your license, you will also need to complete a PLT Praxis exam –http://www.ets.org – You can choose any grade level band. Please have a score report sent to UCA but also please email Dr. Thompson a copy of your score report at athompson@uca.edu.

 Reading Specialist PRAXIS:
  1.  240tutoring.com – Monthly subscription. Has study materials for the PLT for the Dyslexia Endorsement.
  2.  Mometrix Test Prep Praxis 5302 –  Anything by Mometrix is very good!
  3. Cirrus is my absolute favorite! They do not have an updated study guide yet. They only have a guide for the old 5301 test.
  4. Mometrix Flash Cards
  5. Study materials on the ETS website including the praxis practice exam you can purchase as well as the PRAXIS Study Companion.
