The UCA Center for Chinese Language and Culture promotes intercultural learning on campus and across Arkansas. Founded in July 2021, the CCLC works to
- Educate students and faculty about China and the Chinese-Speaking world
- Promote faculty, staff, and student exchange between UCA and our university partners in China and Taiwan
- Support Chinese Language teaching in Arkansas by providing professional development for teachers and cultural programs for students
- Serve as a Chinese language proficiency testing center for students and professionals in Arkansas and neighboring states
- Serve as a resource for economic, governmental and civic exchange with China and the Chinese-speaking world
- Support UCA’s Arkansas Chinese Heritage Project in order to preserve the history of Chinese immigration to Arkansas
