UCA's  Division of University and Government Relations serves as a liaison with the media as well as local, state and federal governments.

Our goal is to generate media coverage spotlighting the accomplishments of faculty, staff and students and to enhance the image of the University of Central Arkansas.

We are responsible for releasing university news and arranging media coverage of events on campus as well as maintaining the university's website. We also provide accurate and timely information to the campus community, media and the public in times of crisis.

The division promotes the university's faculty and staff through its Speakers Bureau. The bureau provides experts in various disciplines as sources for media. Civic groups, schools, and non-profit organizations can also contact the division to have a faculty or staff member speak at their event.
