The Human Performance Laboratory (HPL) is a 2,300 square foot facility located in the Farris Center. Equipment in the HPL includes a Burdick HeartStride 4.0 12-Lead ECG Stress System, ParvoMedics TrueMax 2400 Metabolic Measurement System, Kistler 3D portable force plate, 3′x3′ one-dimensional force plate, and Noraxon Telemyo 2400TG2 electromyography system with compatible 3D accelerometers, 3D goniometer and 2D inclinometers. The HPL also contains exercise and fitness related equipment, as well as several computer workstations with Dartfish video analysis software.
