University of Central Arkansas’ annual Laurels and Stripes event showcased UCA’s passion for fundraising as more than 500 alumni and friends enjoyed an unforgettable evening honoring outstanding alumni, celebrating the impact of privately funded scholarships and dancing to the sounds of The Rodney Block Collective.
Nan Snow, the 2023 Distinguished Alumni award recipient, was recognized at the event for her lifetime of work as an advocate for women’s rights and opportunities. The prestigious award recognizes alumni that have made outstanding contributions personally or professionally, and who serve as an example to UCA students. Snow is one of only 48 alumni to receive the award since its inception in 1985.
