Dr. Mary (Lowe) Good ’50 has been named in the inaugural edition of the Arkansas 200 list, published by Arkansas Business.

Terry Fiddler ’70 was honored as Friend of the District at the fifth annual Hall of Honor Gala held by the Conway Public Schools Foundation.
Margaret Grimes ’70, ’94 was honored as the Distinguished Educator at the fifth annual Hall of Honor Gala held by the Conway Public Schools Foundation.
Bobby Reynolds ’73, former member of the UCA Board of Trustees from 2009-15 and chair in 2011, has been appointed to the UCA Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Steven “Bo” Conner ’74 was honored as the Distinguished Alumnus at the fifth annual Hall of Honor Gala held by the Conway Public Schools Foundation.
Barbara (Crane) Garner ’76, assistant superintendent at Crossett School District, was inducted into the Educational Leadership Hall of Fame at Southern Arkansas University on April 17, 2018.
John Hutchcraft ’76, Guy-Perkins High School basketball coach, was honored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He was named the top high school girls basketball coach in the nation and was presented the Morgan Wootten Award.
Judith Quinn ’77 and her husband, Robert Quinn, retired and relocated to Inlet Beach, Florida, fulfilling a dream of theirs. They just celebrated 40 years of marriage.
Sunnie (Briley) Ruple ’78 has been named the 2017 Faulkner County Master Gardener of the Year.
Joe Allison ’79, 2013 UCA Distinguished Alumnus, received the 2018 Distinguished Research Award in Petroleum Chemistry, presented by the American Chemical Society Energy and Fuels Division.

Stephana (Horton) Loyd ’81, vice president of Patient Care and chief nursing officer at Baptist Health Conway, received the award of Administrator of the Year at the UCA North Metro Healthcare Awards.
Margie (Carter) Towery ’83, ’85 has been named Greenbrier District Teacher of the Year.
John “Sam” Counce ’88, who was a center for back-to-back NAIA National Championship football teams at UCA in 1984 and 1985, has been inducted into the UCA Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Laura Abbott ’88, ’96, a former UCA cross-country athlete, has been inducted into the UCA Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Michael “Brad” Hegeman ’89, ’96 has been named COO of Nabholz Corp. in Conway after a corporate structure change. Hegeman was formerly president of the company’s South Central operations.
Bobby Joe McDaniels ’89, who was an All-American linebacker for the Bears as well as an All-American in track and field, has been inducted into the UCA Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2018.

Teri (Turley) Cox ’90, ’94 has been selected to be a part of the 2018 Class of Women to Watch, presented by Little Rock Soiree Magazine.
Susan (Taylor) Gatto ’90, director of the UCA School of Nursing, was named the 2018 Nurse Educator of the Year by Publishing Concepts Inc., which publishes the ASBN Update for the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
Marsha (Fulton) Joyner ’90 has joined Centennial Bank as a senior business development officer in Conway.
Johnny Mitchum ’90 of Keller Williams Realty of Little Rock has been appointed to the national Commercial Leadership Council by Keller Williams Commercial.
William “Chris” Roberts ’90 has been promoted to market president for Southern Bank in Searcy.
Kimberly “Kim” Tyler ’90, ’94 was recognized as Citizen of the Year at the 2018 Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.
Stanley Hancock ’91 was named market sales manager for the Arkansas District of Vallen Distribution in November 2016 after 20 years as account representative for the company.
Janetta Blackmore ’92, ’98 has been promoted to colonel in the U.S. Army as of Jan. 1, 2018.
Arch H. Jones Jr. ’92, ’08 graduated with his doctorate of education in educational leadership from Arkansas State University in December 2017.

Kenneth “Ken” Collumns ’96, ’98, who was the freshman starting quarterback that led the UCA football team to the 1991 national championship, has been inducted into the UCA Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Michelle Rupp ’96 has been promoted to director of public relations and communications at Arkansas Heart Hospital.
Wayne Pace ’97, owner of Authentic Inspection Services, has been appointed to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board by Gov. Asa Hutchinson.
Kimberly (Duke) Raup ’97, ’04, ’11 won the Arkansas Affiliate Educator Award, presented by the National Center for Women & Information Technology.
Jeremy Sparks ’98 was appointed to the Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission by Gov. Asa Hutchinson and was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Air Force.
ohn Garmon ’99, director of Business Development at Foundation Resource Management, was one of five staff members who recently purchased a minority interest in the firm.
Laura (Rice) Hall ’99, ’11, ’16, assistant professor in the UCA School of Nursing, won the 2018 MEDSURG Nursing Continuous Quality Improvement Writer’s Award for the article “Care-T: Reducing Readmissions on a Cardiology Unit.” The article was published in MEDSURG Nursing: The Journal of Adult Health.

Jillian (Cooper) Yant ’05 was featured on the February cover of Inviting Arkansas, a premier magazine in central Arkansas. Her feature article discussed her work with the 20th Century Club, a nonprofit that provides lodging to cancer patients.
