The Division of Advancement staff at the University of Central Arkansas has expanded with the hiring of two key individuals this year.
Vice President for Institutional Advancement Dr. T. Kale Gober joined UCA in May 2016 after serving as the assistant athletic director for Development at the University of Arkansas. In this new role, Gober will use his leadership skills to increase fundraising for development and alumni relations.
Gober was previously the athletic director at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, he served as development associate and assistant to the athletics director at UCA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in education from Henderson State University, a Master of Science in instructional technology from UCA and a Doctor of Education in athletic administration from Northcentral University in Arizona.
“As the vice president for Institutional Advancement, I am excited to lead a team that shares the remarkable stories of UCA with our constituents, and I have no doubt that in partnership with the incredible faculty and students, we will have unprecedented success engaging our alumni and raising support for UCA,” Gober said.
Joycelin Randle was hired on August 1,2016 as the executive director of Development. As executive director of Development, Randle will coordinate all development programs such as major gift, annual giving and planned giving programs. She will also serve as principal gifts officer for the University’s top prospects while working collaboratively with college development and advancement officers.
“I am excited I joined the Advancement team, and I look forward to working with the UCA community to advance the mission and goals of the University,” said Randle.
