Mike Kemp is a Conway, Arkansas-based photographer specializing in capturing the personalities of the people he meets. Mike spent 15 years as a photojournalist before turning his skills to focus on portrait and commercial photography. His background in photojournalism has led him to create portraits that are relaxed and natural.

Mike’s exhibit for UCA Downtown showcases some of his favorite images of Light and Emotion. Light has the power to create emotion and Mike’s attention to lighting is evident when you view his work. Featuring both portrait and landscape images, Mike’s hope is to create an image that causes the viewer to connect emotionally to the subject.
Gallery hours beginning, May 6 are Monday through Friday from noon until 5 p.m. The gallery will be closed for special events.
Light + Emotion will be on exhibit until Friday, May 31, 2019.
