In the Black: The Rebirth of the Black Renaissance is a celebration of the 1ooth anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance. One hundred years later, new artists and musicians from UCA, Conway and surrounding areas come together to revisit and pay homage to the Black musicians and artists who created a movement that continues to resonate within the African-American community and throughout the world.
Join us at UCA Downtown on Friday, March 6th from 6-8 pm to experience the brilliance of profound expression of art, culture and entertainment. Doors open at 5 pm. Please arrive early as seating is limited. Light refreshments will be served.
Hosted by: Kristy Carter, Wesley Peters, UCA Students for the Arts and Division of Outreach and Community Engagement
