Minority Vendor Partnership Initiative – Research

Research is a part of the service work provided by the Minority Vendor Partnership Initiative (MVPI).  The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas (WFA) awarded the MVPI a grant to conduct a study on Business Women of Color in Arkansas. The purpose of the study is to identify barriers and gaps in the entrepreneurial ecosystem for women of color business owners. As part of the data collection for this study, we will conduct a series of virtual focus groups using ZOOM with women of color business owners.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older, be a resident of Arkansas, identify as a woman from a race other than white or Caucasian, be self-employed or a 50% owner of a business in Arkansas. Participants must also have reliable internet service in order to participate in the virtual sessions on ZOOM. Participants who complete the virtual focus group session will automatically receive a $25 Gift Card. Online survey participants will have the option to enter a drawing for a $25 Gift card.
