Institutional Diversity and Inclusion



The Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion (IDI) seeks to foster an environment where individuals know they are visible, valued, and validated. IDI serves to help UCA become Arkansas’ premier university for the tenets of diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity. These principles are described below:

DIVERSITY: UCA gives attention to representation as measured quantitatively and qualitatively

BELONGING: It is the aim of UCA for all individuals to know they matter for their commonalities and their differences

INCLUSION: UCA employs a diverse body of leaders who include diverse perspectives in decision-making that impacts policies, practices, procedures, and experiences

EQUITY: UCA collaborates to examine systems and structures to identify and/or address predictability in representation, outcomes, and experiences
