The Bear Essentials Food Pantry will be closed during the Thanksgiving holiday break from Wednesday, November 27th through Friday, November 29th. We will reopen at 11 am on Monday, December 2nd.

Hugs 4 Bears Event

Hugs 4 Bears is an event focused on ensuring the well-being of our UCA Torreyson Library students. We’re partnering with the Free Mom Hugs organization to offer free hugs (or fist bumps) to students who may find themselves homesick at this point in the semester and miss hugs from home. Please join us Thursday, November 7, 12pm-3pm outside out front entrance. Come enjoy a hug , fist-bump, words of affirmation, pocket hug buttons and light refreshments!
Summer Study in Vienna Austria with UCA Faculty Members

Travel to Vienna Austria this summer with other UCA students and faculty and complete credits for your degree! This program is health science and business focused but all students are welcome. Some highlights of the itinerary include a visit to the United Nations, museums, Mauthausen (Concentration Camp), Salzburg and the Sound of Music in the Austrian Alps, and a mountain retreat . Deadline and deposit to sign up for this program is January 15th!!!

It’s the last home game of the season on The Stripes! Kickoff for the Bears against Southern Utah is 4 PM. Get to your seat early! Senior Recognition will take place roughly 30 minutes out from kickoff. A Blackhawk flyover will take place during the National Anthem! Click the link to claim your student ticket!
