College Bound Arkansas | June 1-4, 2025
The transition to college is a challenge for any student. For students with disabilities who need accommodations to access services and programs, the transition can be even more challenging. College Bound Arkansas will increase students’ knowledge of accommodations, assistive technologies, leadership skills, and other exciting aspects of college life. The program is open to entering high school juniors, seniors and college freshmen who reside in Arkansas.
At College Bound Arkansas Students will:
- Participate in workshops covering topics such as self advocacy, transitioning, assistive
technologies, and college survival skills
- Interact with college students who also have disabilities
- Spend three days on a college campus
- Interact with college bound peers

UCA Summer 2025 Art Camp | June 9-19, 2025
Welcome to the summer 2025 UCA Art Camps! The Department of Art and Design is excited to offer an expanded course selection this summer in our beautiful Windgate Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. Each of the five classes will be offered on June 9th-19th Monday – Thursday either from 9am-noon or 1pm-4pm. The classes are open to students who will be in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade during the 2025/26 academic year. These classes are open to beginning through advanced students. Students will be working directly with UCA art faculty. This will be a great opportunity for your students to both have fun and build their art portfolios. Destination Band Camp Junior High Band Camp| June 9-14, 2025
Destination Band Camp is celebrating 88 years! Students will receive top-notch instrumental music education from outstanding junior high, high school, and college personnel, as well as this year’s guest conductors, Brian Balmages. In addition, students will have the opportunity to perform in full concert ensembles. Recreational activities include sports and social activities, dancing, swimming, karaoke, and more, all under the supervision of qualified directors. AI Robotics and Ethics AEGIS Camp | June 16-20 and June 22-27, 2025
This camp is for Arkansas students who will be in grades 10-12 in the 2025-2026 academic year and who have taken at least one Computer Science course and so are familiar with the topics of:
Computational thinking and problem solving
Data, information, and security
Algorithms and programs
Computers and communications, and
Professionalism and impacts of computing.
The AI Robotics & Ethics camp at the University of Central Arkansas is a FREE commuter camp where the teams showcase what they have learned. Additionally, students will engage with artificial intelligence and robotics topics in popular culture through movies and short stories to understand the moral and ethical dimension of this rapidly developing technology. ACC Choir Camp: Dinochorus: Dates July 5-12, 2025
Step back in time and unleash your inner “choir-dactyl” at DINOCHORUS, the 2025 ACC Choir Camp! Happening July 7-12, 2025, at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas, this unforgettable experience is designed for students in 8th-12th grade who are ready to harmonize, grow, and have a “roar-some” time. Dive into a week of prehistoric-themed musical fun, where you’ll polish your vocal skills, make dino-mite memories, and connect with fellow singers. Arkansas and the World: International Affairs Summer Camp at UCA | July 13-18, 2025
This summer camp is one of the few summer camps in the United States focusing primarily on international affairs. High school students attending this summer camp will participate in educational workshops and experiential learning activities that enhance their knowledge and understanding of international affairs, diplomacy, and organizations in the 21st century. Specifically, students will participate in educational workshops on international relations; the United Nations (UN); international security; international social, humanitarian, and cultural issues; and the fundamentals of Model United Nations. Students will also participate in interactive simulations of UN bodies as representatives of countries and participate in social activities during the evenings, including a Global Trivia Competition. 2025 Summer Steam Academy: July 14-18, 2025
The 2025 Summer STEAM Academy at UCA is a one-week, non-residential enrichment experience for students entering grades 7-9. Participating students will explore the science of ecology and the visual arts, focusing on the natural world in Arkansas. Activities will include exploration of collecting data on local trees, the ecological basis of birdsong and associated spectrograms, and examining movement and characteristics of freshwater crustaceans. Each scientific exploration is paired with art projects, such as leaf pigment extraction and printmaking, and art utilizing acoustic spectrograms. UCA Piano Camp: Dates June 23-27, 2025
UCA Piano Camp has classes for first time beginners and those with a few years of piano experience. Beginners, come and get a great start on learning piano! Discover the fundamentals of piano playing and music reading with our expert faculty.
