UCA I.T. Careers Camp | June 4-7, 2024
The UCA/Acxiom IT Careers Camp is designed to heighten students’ interest in an Information Technology career. The purpose of the Camp is to educate students about IT careers and to encourage them to continue their education beyond high school. UCA Clay Camp: Dates June 10-21, 2024
Welcome to the 2024 inaugural UCA Clay Camp! The Department of Art and Design is excited to offer this art camp in our beautiful Windgate Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. This will be a two week studio art course offered June 10th – 21st, Monday – Friday from 1-3pm. The class is open to students who will be in 10th, 11th and 12th grade during the 2024/25 academic year. Students will have the opportunity to work directly with UCA Ceramics faculty member Professor Liz Smith and two advanced ceramics student teachers. The class will focus on hand building sculptural and utilitarian objects with an emphasis on surface treatments, so it is a great class for those who are interested in both or either three dimensional building and drawing or painting. Destination Band Camp Senior High Camp| June 16-22, 2024
Destination Band Camp is celebrating 87 years! Students will receive top-notch instrumental music education from outstanding junior high, high school, and college personnel, as well as this year’s guest conductors, Brian Balmages. In addition, students will have the opportunity to perform in full concert ensembles. Recreational activities include sports and social activities, dancing, swimming, karaoke, and more, all under the supervision of qualified directors. College Bound Arkansas | June 3-5, 2024
The transition to college is a challenge for any student. For students with disabilities who need accommodations to access services and programs, the transition can be even more challenging. College Bound Arkansas will increase students’ knowledge of accommodations, assistive technologies, leadership skills, and other exciting aspects of college life. The program is open to entering high school juniors, seniors and college freshmen who reside in Arkansas.
At College Bound Arkansas Students will:
- Participate in workshops covering topics such as self advocacy, transitioning, assistive
technologies, and college survival skills - Interact with college students who also have disabilities
- Spend three days on a college campus
- Interact with college bound peers

Arkansas and the World: International Affairs Summer Camp at UCA | July 9-14, 2024
This summer camp is one of the few summer camps in the United States focusing primarily on international affairs. High school students attending this summer camp will participate in educational workshops and experiential learning activities that enhance their knowledge and understanding of international affairs, diplomacy, and organizations in the 21st century. Specifically, students will participate in educational workshops on international relations; the United Nations (UN); international security; international social, humanitarian, and cultural issues; and the fundamentals of Model United Nations. Students will also participate in interactive simulations of UN bodies as representatives of countries and participate in social activities during the evenings, including a Global Trivia Competition. AI Robotics and Ethics AEGIS Camp | June 17-21, 2024
This camp is for Arkansas students who will be in grades 10-12 in the 2024-2025 academic year and who have taken at least one Computer Science course and so are familiar with the topics of:
Computational thinking and problem solving
Data, information, and security
Algorithms and programs
Computers and communications, and
Professionalism and impacts of computing.
The AI Robotics & Ethics camp at the University of Central Arkansas is a FREE commuter camp where the teams showcase what they have learned. Additionally, students will engage with artificial intelligence and robotics topics in popular culture through movies and short stories to understand the moral and ethical dimension of this rapidly developing technology. UCA Piano Camp: Dates July 15-19, 2024
UCA Piano Camp has classes for first time beginners and those with a few years of piano experience. Beginners, come and get a great start on learning piano! Discover the fundamentals of piano playing and music reading with our expert faculty. Intermediate level students will enjoy new experiences at the piano such as ensemble playing, chord chart playing, playing by ear, strengthening your technique, and a great chance to renew your love for piano while improving your overall skills! ACC Choir Camp: Wild & Free Camp: Dates July 8-13, 2024
ACC Choir Camp is back this summer on the campus of The University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR! It will be our 32nd year of camp!
