Who’s Who

 

Lauren Carlton (Director, Sure Thing)

Lauren Carlton (she/her) is a director, singing actor, and stage intimacy director. She is a
Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre at the University of Central Arkansas. Prior to her time at
UCA, she taught at Lawrence University’s Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin and at
Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas where she was the Program Director. She holds an MFA in
Theatre Performance and Pedagogy with a focus in directing from Texas Tech University and a
BA from The University of Alabama.

 

Elizabeth Baker (Stage Manager, Sure Thing)

Elizabeth Baker is a sophomore theatre student at UCA. In the past, she was in several high school productions. At UCA she has been in several student-led productions, and she assisted stage managed Little Shop of Horrors. Sure Thing is the first production she has stage managed. She would like to thank her family, friends, and girlfriend for all the support.

 

Dalton Carroll (Bill, Sure Thing)

Dalton is so excited to be playing in the one act by David Ives, ‘Sure Thing’! He is
currently a theatre senior at the University of Central Arkansas. A few favorite roles
include Ensemble (Tis Pity), Charlie (From Up Here), and Jason (Medea). He would like
to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the show and the program!

Delaney Brown (Betty, Sure Thing)

Delaney Brown is excited to be performing Betty in Sure Thing. She is a sophomore at UCA and comes from Fouke, Arkansas. Delaney is a a double major in theatre and philosophy and has a minor in interdisciplinary studies.

 

Forrest Breshears (Director, The Philadelphia)

William Forrest Breshears is a Junior and theatre major at UCA. He’s been in past productions such as Wrestling with my Dignity, From Up Here, Fiddler on the Roof, and many more. The Philadelphia is his College Directorial Debut. Special thanks to everyone who worked on the production.

 

John Thomas (Stage Manager, The Philadelphia)

John Thomas is a sophomore,  nursing major with a theatre minor at UCA. He has previously performed in several high school productions, such as Frozen Jr. (Kristoff) and Annie Jr. (Ensemble). He made his college debut in Chad Bradford’s Guiltless. He is also an assistant stage manager on Little Shop of Horrors. The Philadelphia will be his first show and he has entirely stage-managed. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support!

 

Alli Wildman (Al, The Philadelphia)

Allison Wildman is a sophomore in UCA’s theater and film departments. She’d like to thank her family, especially her grandmother for always taking her to practices and rehearsals. She’d also like to thank her friends for listening to her ramble about musicals. Finally, she’d like to thank her high school theater teacher, Alisha Williams, for growing her love for theater.

 

Jameson Watkins (Mark, The Philadelphia)

Jameson Watkins is a sophomore at UCA. He is pursuing a career in Political Science.  Jameson also loves playing soccer and acting.

 

Crystal Daniels (Waitress, The Philadelphia)

A Sophomore double majoring in Theatre and Film, Crystal Daniels, is originally from Little Rock, Ar. They have been acting since age 8, and enjoys all aspects of storytelling. Aspires to resemble Tyler Perry in adulthood.

 

Crystal Delgado-Velez (Director, Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage)

Crystal Delgado Velez is a Senior. She is very excited to have been able to work with an amazing cast and be able to dip her feet in Directing. She would like to thank Lauren and Fritzges for encouraging and mentoring her throughout this process. She also thanks Bri Wallace for being an amazing stage manager. Lastly she thanks her Mami and family for always being behind her back.

 

Bri Wallace (Stage Manager, Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage)

Bri Wallace is the Stage Manager of MTV. She is a sophomore with a Theatre major and a Music minor. She has been a past Assistant Stage Manager for GUILT/LESS, and the Assistant Stage Manager for Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre’s production of Much Ado About Nothing.

 

Kathryn Bale (Sarah Penworthy-Pilks, Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage)

Kathryn Bale (playing Sarah) currently is a double major between Theatre and Mathematics and a double minor in STEM Education and Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. As a Freshman at UCA, her high school performances included playing Ariel in Footloose, Sandra in The Play That Goes Wrong, and being in the ensemble for Elf the Musical.

 

Keenan Smith (Rev. Roger Penworthy-Pilks, Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage)

Keenan is a sophomore at UCA and currently majoring in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. Keenan has previously appeared as George in Our Town, Hamlet in Hamlet, and various ensemble roles in Annie.

 

Eden Johnson (Mona Thumpington-Fffienes, Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage)

Eden Johnson is an English major in her final semester at UCA. She has played the role of Penny in When We Were Young and Unafraid and worked wardrobe for Fool for Love, both UCA Theatre productions.

 

Danyal Renode (Jeremy Thumpington-Fffienes, Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage)

Danyal Renode is a junior at UCA. He is a Theatre major and a Film minor. His favorite roles have been Le Fou in Beauty and the Beast, Mr.Webb in Our Town, and being the student director for the show Cheating Death.

 

Kim Tullos (Inspector Dexter, Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage)

Kim Tullos is playing Inspector Dexter in Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage. She is a Freshman Theatre Major. Her three favorite roles she’s played are Linus (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Templeton (Charlotte’s Web), and Teddy (Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus).
