Family Day will proceed as planned rain or shine. In the event of lightning, some activities may be delayed until the scattered storms pass through the area. We hope to see you on campus! Go Bears!

Students & Families Brunch

Enjoy brunch with UCA faculty and staff, and UCA alumnae, Meleah Bowles. Meleah is the co-author of You Goal Girl, Earn Spend Live and Life Unplugged. Tickets required.

 UCA Beach Volleyball Fall Scrimmage

Get your first glimpse of the UCA Beach Bears in action during their intra-squad Fall Scrimmage on Saturday, October 12th at the UCA Beach Volleyball Courts from 10am-12pm. This is a free event that is open to the public. Dogs welcome. Go Beach Bears!

Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm – Location: UCA Sand Volleyball Courts (located behind the HPER/student parking lot, by entrances to the Jewel Nature Preserve, just before the Intramural Fields and Challenge Course).


Tailgate & Food

 President Houston Davis and Mrs. Jenny Davis will join the tailgate between 1:30 – 3:30pm. Stop by and say hello to UCA’s first family! The tent will be near the Pepsi Center, and a picnic lunch and refreshments will be provided before the football game. Food will be served beginning at 12:00pm and out first family will arrive around 1:30pm.

Entertainment and Attractions

Fun for the whole family! Enjoy one of the many inflatable attractions, play some lawn games, have your picture taken at the photo booth, or get your face painted! Additionally, there will be other games and activities for you to participate in provided various UCA student organizations.

NOTE: To participate in activities a liability waiver must be signed at the welcome booth.

Where do I park?

There is no designated parking for Family Day.  You are allowed to park in any parking space on campus that is not reserved or a designated handicap space. Be advised that UCA PD will ticket for illegal parking in a handicapped space without state tags and/or UCA handicapped tags, at red curves, red zones, no parking areas, and any space with a reserve sign in front of it.
