SURF Panel
Supported by the AR Division of Higher Education, Student Undergraduate Research Fellowships provide undergraduate students an opportunity to develop a sustained relationship with a faculty member (over the course of one, two, or three semesters) to carry out an in-depth research, scholarship, or creative projects. The amount of money available for travel and supplies for students is based on the number of semesters the project will require. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
SURF applications are due in October. The Fall semester can be so hectic that we encourage faculty and undergraduates to learn about SURF and begin thinking through their projects in the Spring semester before they plan to apply.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs will host a panel of past SURF awardees, faculty mentors, and UCA faculty who serve on the SURF selection committee on April 18 at 3:00 PM. Join us to learn all about the SURF experience.
