🎓 Scholarship Award Information
Tuition & Fees: $6,500
Housing Award: $2,000
Total Annual Award: $8,500
- Academic scholarships are awarded for fall and spring terms only.
- Students must live in University housing to receive the housing award and, therefore, the annual total award.
- Academic scholarships only apply to charges for in-state tuition, on-campus room and board, and mandatory fees directly assessed by the University except for approved programs.
✏️ Renewal Requirements (2025-26)
To maintain eligibility for the Distinguished Scholarship, students must meet specific academic progress benchmarks.
- Year 1 (Fall Semester): Students must complete at least 11 credit hours in good standing with a minimum GPA of 2.75 by the end of the semester.
- Year 1 (Spring Semester): By the end of the academic year, students must have earned at least 27 total credit hours while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
- Year 2+ (Ongoing): Students must complete 30 credit hours per academic year with a minimum GPA of 3.25 to remain eligible for scholarship renewal.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in the permanent loss of the scholarship with no reinstatement options. If requirements are not met by the end of the Spring semester, UCA summer courses may be considered in the renewal process.

Important Notes
- Students must complete remediation requirements before renewing the scholarship to year two.
- Students must maintain good academic standing as defined by the current Undergraduate Bulletin.
- If requirements have been completed at the end of the fall and spring term, the scholarship will renew at that time.
- Summer courses taken at UCA will be considered in the renewal process.
- Hours and credits for courses not taken at UCA, and grades/ credits associated with Graduate and Intensive English Program courses are not considered in scholarship renewal or disbursement.
- There will be no reinstatement of a lost scholarship.
📚 Enrollment Criteria
Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 15 UCA credit hours by the 8th day of each Fall and Spring term.
