In 2007 Chick Corea and Béla Fleck recorded an album together –  The Enchantment – and they had so much fun that the decided to tour together.  To the delight of music lovers of all stripes, they continue getting together to make music, and we were lucky enough to be one of their stops this time.  Chick Corea began his professional career in the 1960s with Cab Calloway, and in 1968 he replaced Herbie Hancock as pianist in Miles Davis’ band.  In his career, he has been nominated for a Grammy 59 times, and has won 22, including 2 Latin Grammys.  Béla Fleck is often called the world’s finest banjo player, and the breadth of his talent is truly amazing.  He has been nominated for 25 Grammys, and won 13 times.  What is truly amazing is that he has been nominated in more categories than any other musician – country, pop, jazz, bluegrass, classical, folk, spoken word, composition, and arranging.
