Experiential Learning

All students pursuing undergraduate degrees in the Department of Government, Public Service, and International Studies are encouraged, or in some cases required, to participate in one or more experiential learning activities outside of the traditional classroom, which may include academic service-learning, academic seminars, global education (faculty-led education abroad programs and semester exchange programs), Model United Nations, professional internships, and independent research projects.  By participating in these activities, students may earn credit hours towards one or more of their academic programs.
