Research and Teaching Assistantships
Graduate assistantships are available for qualified students through the Graduate School.
Recipients of these assistantships serve as research assistants or teaching assistants.

Doctoral candidates with a focus in Educational Leadership are eligible to apply for a Fortier Scholarship. These fellowships are highly competitive and renewable subject to successful annual review. Fortier Fellowships will provide a stipend and tuition expenses. For more information please see the Fortier Scholarship Provisions.
McNiece Doctoral Fellowships
The award(s) may be made for all or a portion of the recipient’s costs for conducting his or her research. All research using human subjects must be approved by the institution’s IRB before funds can be released. The grant is designed to facilitate research activities of doctoral students and should have particular relevance in public sector leadership and both enhancing human and community capabilities. Students receiving graduate assistantships and other forms of financial aid need to contact the Financial
Aid Office to determine their combined financial package. Information about other forms of financial aid,
including loans, can also be obtained from the Financial Aid Office, located in McCastlain Hall.
