There are many communities who make up our vibrant and tight-knit campus life. Campus Connections offers an opportunity to learn more about those communities through virtual information sessions and interactive events throughout the month of July! You will connect with your incoming class peers and also meet current UCA students who know the campus and each of these communities well and can offer guidance and answer your questions.
These sessions focus on many (but not all!) campus communities and are hosted by campus offices or student groups. Each session is unique, along with the students you will meet and information you will learn! Below you will find the session descriptions highlighting what you can expect, session dates and times, as well as the process for joining the virtual session.
Additionally, check out the calendar at the bottom of the website to see all the sessions in a calendar format and add them to your personal calendar to quickly join! We encourage you to explore all the session options below and attend any you are interested in (it’s okay to attend the same one more than once)!

Campus Community: Incoming Underrepresented Freshmen and Transfer Students
Session Description: Are you an incoming freshman or transfer student who’s looking to get involved with Minority Registered Student Organizations AND win some scholarship money in the process??? The Rainbow Connection
Campus Community: Incoming LGBTQ students/supporters
Session Description: These sessions will allow incoming LGBTQ students to make connections with each other and those in the UCA community who support them. We will discuss resources, campus life, opportunities, and address any questions students may have. These sessions will be approximately one hour long.

Sorority Life and Recruitment at UCA
Campus Community: Incoming female students
Session Description: Ever wonder about what it is like to be a part of a Greek Sorority at UCA? The Panhellenic community at UCA is comprised of five sororities: Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, Delta Zeta, Sigma Kappa, and Sigma Sigma Sigma. In this session you will have the opportunity to hear from some of our Panhellenic Council Leaders and sorority members. You will get the chance to ask any questions you have about Fall Recruitment, becoming a member, and sorority life.

Student Orientation Staff (SOS) Virtual Sessions
Campus Community: All incoming students
Session Description: The virtual sessions will be interactive (of course there will be icebreakers!)and informative. They will provide an opportunity to ask questions about campus life, hear advice about the transition to college life, and connect with other freshmen. Each session will last one hour and 10 minutes and there will be an opportunity to stay longer to hang out with your incoming classmates.
