What is the ACT residual?

The ACT residual is a local administration of the ACT that can only be used for specific purposes, such as admission to the UCA teacher education program.  These scores cannot be used for scholarships nor can they be transferred to another institution.  It is an actual ACT, scored by ACT, but reported only to UCA.  ACT limits test-takers to 12 ACT attempts.  The ACT residual counts toward those 12 attempts.

The UCA Testing Center will offer the ACT residual two times each semester and once each summer.
