In-Person Service

Monday – Thursday: 7:00 am – 11:00 pm
Friday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday: CLOSED

In-Person Service Guidelines

  • ONLY current UCA students, faculty, and staff have access to in-person library services.
  • Unvaccinated users must wear a mask in the library at all times.
  • Food and drink are not allowed in the computer lab.
  • Microforms and Archives are available by appointment only.

The UCA Librarians are here to answer your questions and help connect you to the resources you need. Visit our Ask Us page where you can browse FAQs, chat with a librarian, and contact us via email or question form. Librarians are responding to questions Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Service Updates

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary loan is currently processing requests for both electronic and physical items. Physical items will be provided through our no-contact pickup service.

Library Computers and Laptops

To meet social distancing guidelines, the number of desktop computers in the library have been reduced. Computers are first come, first serve and only one person per computer. Food and drink are not allowed while using library computers. Laptops can be checked out from the Circulation Desk for two hours and must remain in the library. Laptops should be returned to the Computer Support desk.

Library Instruction

Library instruction classes can be delivered synchronously via Blackboard Collaborate and asynchronously via other video/screen capture options, depending on the needs and preferences of faculty. Please reach out to Amber Wilson (amberc@uca.edu) to make arrangements for your class.


Access to the microforms collection and viewing machines is available by appointment. For more information and to schedule an appointment, see How can I look at microfilm resources? on our FAQ page.

No-Contact Pickup

Most of the library’s physical resources are available to currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff through no-contact pickup services. The items available for this service include books, DVDs, musical scores, etc.  Detailed information and instructions on how to use this service can be found on the library FAQs page.

Please Note: No-contact pickup is not available for textbooks and reserve items.

Off-Campus Access

Most of the library’s online resources are available off-campus. Make sure you know your myUCA username and password and have your security questions set in case you need to reset your password. See How do I access library resources off-campus? on the library’s FAQ page for instructions and troubleshooting tips.


In the library, printing can be done through the library laptops, desktops, and designated printing kiosks. Patrons can also complete a Printing Request and files will be provided through no-contact delivery. Full instructions and needed forms are available at Library Printing Services.

Scanning Services

Content from our physical resources can be scanned and delivered electronically. Available scanned content must meet copyright guidelines. For more information and instructions, please see: How do I submit a scanning request for UCA library resources?


The library textbooks collection is available for use in the library. Textbooks are not cleaned or quarantined between use and should be used with caution.
