Setting up UCA email on a mobile device

Choose your device type for the appropriate steps to access your UCA email account on a mobile device:

iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.)

  1. Go to the Settings app on your iOS device, and then select Mail.
  2. Select Accounts.
  3. Select Add Account.
  4. Select Google.
  5. Enter your full UCA email address. Then select Next. You will be redirected to the UCA Single Sign-on screen.
  6. Enter your UCA username and password, and then select Log In.
  7. Make sure Mail is on (indicated by the switch turning green). If desired, turn on any other services you would like to have synced on your iOS device. When finished, select Save.

Your iOS device will now be synced with your UCA G Suite account.

Alternatively, you can use the official Gmail app from Google. The Gmail app is available from either the Google Play store (for Android devices) or Apple’s App Store (for iOS devices, such as iPhones and iPads).

NOTE: UCA emails do not work with Google’s Inbox by Gmail mobile app at this time. Because UCA’s version of Gmail is part of G Suite for Education, student and faculty/staff emails are not standard consumer Gmail accounts.
