Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Cake Festival or Moon Festival, is one of China’s biggest holidays. A joyous occasion for celebration with family reunions, mooncakes, and lanterns, the festival is also celebrated in many other Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines.
The Center for Chinese Language and Culture at UCA will host a celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival on Friday, September 29th in the Ballroom at the McCastlain Hall. Come to enjoy our celebration with storytelling, live music performance, and mooncakes.
