On Campus Interview Travel and Lodging Information

If you accept an on-campus invitation to interview with our department, you will be asked to fill out a travel form (see below) prior to your arrival so that we can plan accordingly for your visit. You can choose to fly to Little Rock or drive directly to Conway, all that we request is that you select the cheapest and most accommodating travel option (these are state travel guidelines for reimbursement purposes). If you have any questions about your visit or need help finding your best travel option, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

Reimbursement Policy

Our department will reimburse you for travel expenses up to $250. Mileage to/from airport and airport parking fees will not be reimbursed. Your airline ticket (if you are flying) must be purchased at least two weeks in advance. If you are offered a position with our department and decline, you will not be reimbursed for travel expenses. If you are not offered a position with the department, you will be reimbursed for travel expenses appropriately. If you are offered a position with the department and accept, you will be reimbursed for travel expenses as well.

Lodging for your On-Campus Visit

During your visit, you will reside in a private bedroom in one of our apartment complexes or guesthouse (depending on availability). You may have other candidates that are interviewing for a graduate assistantship with you as suitemates. You will have access to a kitchen, laundry facilities, internet, and cable TV service.
